In winter or summer, rain or sunshine, you can participate in the daily Finnish routines, enjoy various seasonal activities and celebrate Finnish holidays with us. Clear your mind and challenge yourself with tasks such as kicksledding, forest walking, ice fishing, planting, harvesting, snow clearing, forest work, homemade cooking, warming up the Finnish sauna, picking berries and herbs, observing birds, tending sheep, playing outdoor games, walking in the forest and swimming in the lake.
We invite you to be present in the moment and hear your own mind in the rich silence. In Nukula, you can observe as the lake and forest change according to Mother Nature’s gentle touch, as well as admire the wonders of the sky as the weather changes. During your stay with us, you will also learn more about sustainability and the eight seasons in Finland by hearing our stories and tales about Finns and the Finnish nature.

What’s included: Accommodation in double rooms (bedding and towels included), full board, and sauna.
Accommodation type: Double rooms in Winter Proof Luxury Granary with own ecological dry toilets and shared showers. One extra bed available per room. Single room supplement 32,00 €/night/person.
Food: The package includes full board. The food consists largely of local, organic and natural ingredients. Daily menu varies depending on the season. Typical menu includes lots of fresh vegetables, herbs and berries. Fish is also served when available. Finnish breakfast consists of porridge, bread and toppings. Coffee and tea available with every meal. Changes possible.

How to get to Nukula:
You can arrive by car to Nukula or by train, bus or airplane to Jyväskylä. Nukula is located 30 mins drive (30 km) from Jyväskylä. You can take a taxi or we can also arrange a transportation upon request. We can also arrange transportation for bigger groups from Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
